From Sarah: Bringing our baby into the world as first-time parents through a home birth was one of the most profound and faith-filled experiences of our lives. From beginning to end, Katrina was caring and helpful in all prenatal visits, the entire birth process, and postpartum care. Though the labor was long and difficult, we never felt alone because Katrina made our home feel filled with love, prayer, and unwavering support.

Through every challenge, Katrina stood by our wishes and ensured our baby and I were safe. She was not only skilled but also deeply compassionate, providing both medical expertise and spiritual encouragement when we needed it most. Her calm presence reassured us, reminding us to trust in God’s perfect plan, even when the road was tough.

Though the birth did not go as smoothly as we had hoped due to a stubborn membrane, we saw God’s faithfulness in every moment. He equipped Katrina with the strength, calmness, and knowledge to navigate every difficulty, and He gave us the endurance to push through. When we finally held our baby in our arms, we were overwhelmed with gratitude—not only for our child’s safe arrival but for the incredible way Katrina had carried us through it all.

From Michael: From a husband’s perspective it’s so easy to feel helpless during the birth given the fact you can’t push or take any of the pain for your wife. Throughout the pregnancy and entire birth process Katrina was truly life changing. From the beginning she taught us so much about the pregnancy, how to navigate each phase, how to prepare for birth, and simply educating us about babies. From start to finish we don’t have a single complaint and cannot thank Katrina enough for all she did for us. As first-time parents we had so many uncertainties and questions about what to expect and how things will go, she ALWAYS had more than enough information and knowledge to bring us peace of mind and allow us to truly feel confident and prepared. I cannot speak highly enough on Katrina’s care and communication through the birth. We had a fairly significant curveball in the birth and not even once did I question Katrina’s awareness or ability to do what was best for Sarah and our baby. She made sure I was aware of exactly what was happening and put me in a position to be the best support I could possibly be for my wife through the entire birth. We had a very long labor and Katrina never lost focus, her care and compassion never dropped a bit. There truly is nothing I could recommend more than having God and Katrina on your team for your pregnancy/birth.

From Both: This experience deepened our faith in ways we never expected. It showed us that even in the hardest moments, God provides exactly what we need: the right people, the right wisdom, and the right strength to bring new life into the world. We will forever be grateful for Katrina (and Esther), for the love that surrounded us, and most of all, for the miracle of our child’s birth.

To anyone considering a home birth, we pray you find the same peace, support, and unwavering faith that Katrina gave us. We only hope to have Katrina birth all our future babies! She is and always will be a huge part of our family.
